Work from home is awesome… for a little while.
COVID-19, and especially our reaction to it, has changed many things in our world, especially the way we work.
Individual employees have requested – or employers have required – work from home policies. Larger corporations have downsized their space. We’ve gone from physically working to digitally working next to each other via zoom.com.
Articles praise the “new normal” and justify it with the benefits of work from home, such as:
- Better Work-Life Balance.
- Less Commute Stress.
- Location Independence.
- Improved Inclusivity.
- Money Savings.
- Positive Environmental Impact.
- Impact on Sustainability.
- A Customizable Office.
While the trend continued for quite some time, a new trend is emerging.
The novelty of working from home has worn thin.
